We take part in several racing leagues throughout the year – there are no requirements of speed or ability, you just need to be willing to give it a go. If you are unsure or nervous, ask a committee member, a run leader or coach

Our Races

As well as participating in the numerous races in the local area, Lordshill Road Runners organise a number of races. We need your help as volunteers to help marshall and organise these races. These have their own pages with more information:

LRR Championship races

Each year, the committee chooses races to form the various club championship races. The 2022 races are:

  • Short distance age-graded championship race: Overton 5 mile – 5th Sep 2022
  • Long distance age-graded championship race: Gosport half marathon – 20th Nov 2022
  • Club Championship – RR10 IBM Hursley – 17th August 2022

English National Cross Country Championships

Saturday 26th February 2022.
Parliament Hill, London.

Please register interest by emailing or sending a Facebook message to the club asap so that we can arrange subsidised club transport. We also plan to have a post-race meal/night out in Southampton afterwards. You need to be an affiliated member and LRR needs to be your 1st claim running club. Thank you
