Lordshill Road Runners organise a total of 4 races each year, which comprises of 2 road races open to all runners, and 2 off-road races that require runners to be members of an affiliated club within the specific Hampshire league.

Lordshill 10K Road Race - 27 June 2010
We are very sorry to have to tell you that, owing to the very recent 
withdrawal of permission to use our race Start and Finish venue, 
we have had no choice but to change the date of this race. Instead 
of being held on Sunday, June 20th, the Race will now be held on 
SUNDAY, JUNE 27TH.

If you have already entered the race for the old date of 20th June, your names will have been entered onto the Race Entry spreadsheet but no cheques will yet have been cashed. We do hope that you will be able to run the race on the new date, but if you cannot do so, or wish to withdraw your entry for any reason, PLEASE COULD YOU LET US KNOW BY EMAILING lordshillraces@hotmail.co.uk BY SUNDAY 16TH MAY, informing us whether you prefer your cheque to be shredded or returned to you.

If we DO NOT hear from you, we shall assume that you wish your name to be transferred to the Race Entry sheet for the new date, and we shall cash your cheque some time during the week commencing 17th May.

Lordshill Road Runners do apologise for any inconvenience that this date change may cause, and assure you that we will be doing everything within our power to make our Race an enjoyable experience for you.

The Lordshill 10K Road Race has been held since 1990. The race is organised by members of our club and takes place around the streets of Southampton and Nursling, finishing at The Outdoor Recreation Centre in Redbridge Lane. Up to 500 male/female participants between 15 and 80+ years of age take part in the event. Unfortunately due to high level of marshals required to keep this event safe, we do not field a team ourselves as members are expected to marshal at this event.

Lordshill 10Mile Road Race
The Lordshill 10Mile Road Race has been held since 1990. This popular event in the race calendar has built a reputation as a well-
organised and friendly race for runners of all abilities. The route runs through Nursling and then North towards Romsey. Starting at The
Outdoor Recreation Centre the runners climb Romsey Road and turn left into Upton Lane making their way to loop around the Broadlands Estate. After this they head back down Lee Lane, loop around Nursling Industrial Estate and head towards The Outdoor Recreation Centre
where the race finishes. Unfortunately due to high level of marshals required to keep this event safe, we do not field a team ourselves as
members are expected to marshal at this event.
