Your time has to be submitted using the submission form. Submission closes on the Monday after the closing Sunday. You can only submit one time.
Your time is the total time it takes you to complete the course (‘elapsed time’); so if you stop to get your breath back or catch up with someone you bump into (socially distanced), the time must be included.
For submission, you will have to provide:
- Email address
- Gender for league table*
- Did you run the predetermined route?
- Time (elapsed)
- Proof of course completion
We will use this time for your ranking. We trust that you are reporting an accurate and fair time!
Proof of course completion:
As a proof of course completion, please paste your Strava activity number. You can find the Strava activity number in the browser address. Please make sure your activity is visible to ‘Everyone. (You can – of course! – change the privacy setting once the results for that particular race have been published).
You can’t use your phone for this one. Sorry! 📵
Ensure the privacy setting is set to the ‘Everyone’ during the submission period.
If you do not have Strava or your Strava activity was faulty:
Please tick the box agreeing that you are reporting your time truthfully. If possible, please attach a proof (e.g. part of Strava segment, photo of your watch face or stopwatch) in the time submission sheet.
*Sport can and does play a major role in promoting the inclusion of all groups in society. Inequalities have existed within sport particularly in relation to gender, race and disability. We are committed to promoting and developing sports equity, which is about fairness in sport, equality of access, recognising inequalities and taking steps to address them. The nature of running has it that human’s X and Y chromosomes play a major role in our sporting abilities. Please choose the league gender that you feel is most appropriate in a friendly competitive setting. If you would like to discuss any of these issues with us, please contact our Membership Secretary (email@example.com).
