Lordshill Road Runners put on another spectacular 10 Mile race on Sunday 2nd November 2014, seeing 499 across the finish line at 5 Acres.
Runners came out in force despite torrential rain early in the morning, and were rewarded with great weather during the race! As they made their way round the 10 mile course through Lordshill, Nursling and the Broadlands Estate, they were cheered along by possibly the best marshals in the world.

Congratulations also to the Southampton Athletics Club men and the Winchester and District Athletics Club women for winning the team prizes.
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank the race committee for their tireless work in preparing for race day, and all who marshalled, setup signs, musically motivated finishers, setup Oasis, stuffed envelopes, handled baggage, gave out t-shirts and race numbers, lead or tail biked, gave out water, gave out food, cheered on runners or helped in any other way on the day or in the lead up. The club and the runners hugely appreciate your time and effort! We hope you enjoyed the delicious buffalo burgers 🙂
